Nick and Josie met in August of 2019. Josie had just moved into a dorm at Northwestern Michigan College when her roommate, after a few days of getting to know her, insisted that she meet Nick. They quickly became inseparable, and fell in love watching bad movies, playing chess in coffee shops, and doing homework in Josie's dorm room. When it came time to move on to a 4-year college, they decided finish school in Chicago, and the two have lived there ever since. They still spend all of their time together, continuing to savor small moments in movie theaters and coffee shops. Nick and Josie often reflect on their first moments together, perplexed on how a stranger can suddenly turn into the most important person in your life. They've been together through so many bright and wonderful and tough moments over the past five years, and they're so excited to celebrate their love with everyone they care about May 31st.
